Altitude Attitude

First, WELCOME!

I am glad you’re here to explore the majesty of Colorado whether you live here or are even visiting Colorado's Front Range for the first time.

There are no 'Mean Girls' here, just an appreciation of nature and living life with positivity, kindness, the 'Altitude Attitude'. Elevate your attitude and rise above the ordinary.

The Front Range of Colorado is an adventurer’s paradise, offering everything from stunning peaks to winding mountain valleys and bustling cityscapes. Whether you're hiking the iconic Flatirons in Boulder, exploring the scenic beauty of Garden of the Gods, or taking in the panoramic views from Pikes Peak, the Colorado Front Range has something for everyone. The crisp mountain air and awe-inspiring vistas remind us that life is a journey, and there's always more to discover.

Growing up in Colorado, you have access to 39,000 miles of trails for hiking and biking. You can explore more than 4,000 bodies of water for fishing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. There are 58 14,000’ peaks, or 14ers or Fourteeners for summiting. It’s quite the accomplishment, considering 14ers are half the size of Mount Everest. Personally, I enjoy the dirt biking, rafting, and climbing opportunities. And don’t forget camping.

The Best Things to Do and Sites to See along the Colorado Front Range:

I love the Front Range. Colorado’s beauty and recreation can be experienced along the I-25 corridor. The Front Range is beautiful and any location you are traveling to is likely to have mountains and cities to explore. You can find anything from delicious food and that perfect Colorado selfie backdrop and memorable outdoor adventures.
1. My personal favorite, and the inspiration for America the Beautiful and designated as America’s Mountain, Pikes Peak. The 14,000’ mountain towers above the City of Colorado Springs. You can ride the train to the top or drive the same road that hosts the annual Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Also, the donuts at the top are the B-E-S-T!
2. Wow! A close second to the beauty and history of Pikes Peak is the Garden of the Gods. While it is no garden, the red rock formations are just as beautiful, if not more jaw-dropping. There are easy paths and more beginner hiking trails in the Garden of the Gods area. Close by is Red Rock Canyon Open Space with more intermediate trails.
3. I can’t even pick the next top one because there is so much to see, and the majority I love are all in Colorado Springs. So, I would pick several Colorado Springs locations. Top two would be the Cave of the Winds and Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, There’s also the Olympic MuseumManitou Springs, the Incline, the North Pole, the Broadmoor, and the Air Force Academy.
4.See a concert, watch a movie, do yoga, or climb the stairs for a workout at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater. The amphitheater offers incredible views and a wide range of activities to experience.
5.  With 107 shops, the Outlets at Castle Rock offers a great day of outdoor shopping in Castle Rock, CO.
6. Moving up the Front Range, the Boulder Flatirons offer rock climbing and hiking adventures. They are also just down the road from Pearl Street food and entertainment. You can also stroll through the historical University of Colorado campus or catch Coach Prime and the CU Buffalos (Go Buffs!)
7. Lory State Park offers a beautiful blend of foothill terrain and lakeside views. With over 26 miles of trails, visitors can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, and wildlife watching, as well as fishing and picnicking by the scenic Horsetooth Reservoir. Pueblo Reservoir
8. Just south of Denver and along the Platte River, you’ll find Chatfield Reservoir and State Park. Visitors can enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, boating, wakeboarding and camping, with access to wetlands, grasslands, and the large reservoir. The park is also a popular spot for wildlife viewing, particularly birdwatching.
9. Boulder Canyon offers a gateway to the more rugged terrain of the Rocky Mountains and serves as an access point to more advanced hiking trails.

There, of course, is still so much to see and do along the Front range and all-across Colorado.
Strap on your hiking boots, snowshoes, or skis and get out there and start exploring.

Catch you on the trails soon! Drop by on the 27th to talk about giving and receiving “Thanks” before we jump into the most “thankful” holiday

Elevate your attitude and rise above the ordinary.
